Pembentangan atau ‘public speaking’ merupakan antara aktiviti yang wajib dibuat dewasa ini. Tidak kira dalam umur berapa, pekerjaan apa, hampir kesemuanya memerlukan aktiviti ini. Ianya seolah-olah aktiviti yang perlu dimahirkan.
Pelajar perlu mempunyai kemahiran ini dalam membentangkan hasil kerja mereka. Eksekutif-eksekutif muda memerlukannya untuk membentangkan dapatan hasil dan seterusnya berkongsi tindakan yang perlu dibuat. Ataupun paling kurang, diminta untuk memberi pendapat dalam sebuah mesyuarat. Sesiapa yang kurang mahir dalam bidang ini pasti kurang menonjol dan seterusnya menyebabkan dia lambat untuk naik pangkat, ataupun mendapat markah yang rendah. Jadi, kemahiran ini adalah begitu penting sekali.
Post pada kali ini, saya ingin berkongsi sebuah tips pembentangan yang begitu berharga bagi diri saya. Saya bukanlah seorang yang pakar dalam bidang ini ye. Tetapi saya rasa saya mempunyai pengalaman untuk dikongsi berkenaan bidang ini. Daripada seorang kanak-kanak yang pemalu, sehinggalah sekurang-kurangnya dapat berkongsi idea dengan orang ramai. Fuh..Sesuatu yang mencabar bagi saya!
Tips ini kosnya murah sahaja. Cuma melibatkan masa dan sedikit usaha. Apa yang diperlukan adalah cermin. Belilah sebuah cermin besar dan berlatihlah di depan ia. Inilah aktiviti yang sering dilakukan oleh saya jika saya diminta untuk membuat ‘public speaking’. Pertamanya, saya akan mencari idea mengenai perkara yang boleh dikongsi dan ayat yang akan diucapkan. Kemudiannya saya akan berlatih di depan cermin 3-4 kali. Setakat ini, keputusannya baik dan berkesan.
