Warren Buffet merupakan salah seorang yang berpengaruh di dunia .Beliau merupakan pemegang saham terbesar dalam beberapa syarikat penting. Selain itu, beliau juga pernah menjadi orang terkaya di dunai sebelum tempat itu diambil semual oleh Bill Gates pada tahun 2009.
Beliau merupakan pakar dalam permainan saham. Dalam sebuah temuramah dengan majalah Magazine, beliau telah berkongsi mengenai sebuah kisah yang telah mengubah hidupnya. Ketika itu beliau masih muda lagi. Buffet talah memohon untuk memasuki Sekolah Perniagaan Harvard (Harvard Business School). Tetapi malangnya permohonan beliau telah ditolak. Lantas beliau mencari maklumat mengenai universiti lain di pepurstakaan. Hasilnya beliau telah menemui bahawa terdapat 2 orang professor yang dikaguminya mengajar di Universiti Columbia, US. Lantas beliau memohon dan berjaya diterima pada saat akhir. Yang lebih mengembirakan, salah seorang daripada professor itu seterusnya menjadi mentor kepadanya.
Salah seorang yang mempengaruhi dan bertanggungjawab dalam kejayaan Warren Buffet adalah Benjamin Graham. Buffet begitu meminati falsafah dan prinsip pelaburan Graham. Pelbagai ilmu diperolehi dan membolehkan beliau menggunakan ilmu yang ada untuk menjadi orang yang terkaya di dunia.
“Kemungkinan peistiwa ditolak oleh Sekolah Perniagaan Harvad merupakan perkara yang paling bertuah pada saya,” kata Buffet.
Kesimpulannya: Sesuatu yang buruk mungkin sebenarnya tuah kepada anda.
