Assalamualaikum dan salam sejatera,
Pada hari ini saya ingin berkongsi mengenai seorang tokoh. Saya rasa ramai mengenalinya. Kalau tak kenal tak tahulah nak cakap apa.. 
Antara tokoh yang menjadi idola saya adalah Tony Fernandes. Antara saya belajar daripada autobiografinya adalah tentang makna kehidupan.
Segalanya bermula apabila beliau berada di London. Ketika itu beliau telah tertarik dengan iklan mengenai EasyJet yang merupakan penerbangan tambang murah. Tertarik dengan konsep tersebut, beliau telah mengambil keputusan untuk ke Lapangan Terbang Luton di London untuk melihat sendiri bagaimana syarikat menjalankankan operasi. Beliau memikirkan bahawa jika model ini berjaya membuat duit dengan penerbangan murah, sudah tentu model yang sama dapat diaplikasi di Malaysia.
Teruja dengan idea tersebut beliau telah meminta Perdana Menteri ketika itu iaitu Tun Mahathir Mohamad untuk memberikan lesen untuk memulakan perniagaan kapal terbang. Tun Mahathir tidak memberikannya lesen tetapi membenar mengambil lessen daripada syarikat penerbangan yang sedia ada, Air Asia yang ketika itu sedang bergelut dengan masalah. Akhirnya, dia dan rakan kongsinya berjaya mengambil alih syarikat Air Asia Sdn Bhd pada 8 September 2001. Semuannya tinggal sejarah selepas itu.
Ayat yang menarik bagi saya yang dikongsi olehnya adalah
“Saya merasakan cukup apa yang saya perolehi. Saya penat dengan kehidupan dengan politik korporat. Lalu saya ternampak peluang perniagaan. Semua orang suka terbang. Yang membuat saya terfikir adala hanya 6% sahaja orang terbang.Saya mula melihat harga kapal terbang dan perjalanan untuk terbang tempat di Malaysia ke tempat yang lain biasanya menghampiri dengan gaji sebulan seseorang.
Saya tidak mahu menunggu sehingga umur 55 dan berkata saya perlu lakukannya. Kehidupan adalah tentang risiko, kehidupan bukanlah tentang takut untuk gagal.“
